Select and delete the final section break. Word applies to the last section the column formatting that you accepted in step 17 for the next-to-last section. Click the Columns tool in the Page Setup group and then click More Columns. If there are no differences in column formatting between the two final sections, you can skip to step 20. Word applies to the last section the Page Setup formatting that you accepted in step 10 for the next-to-last last section. Place the insertion point just after the final section break. Immediately press Enter or click on OK. Click the small icon at the bottom-right of the Page Setup group. Place the insertion point just before the final section break. Click the Close Header and Footer tool. (You can switch between the header and footer by using the Go To Footer tool and the Go To Header tool.) This ensures that the final section in the document has the same header and footer as the section just before it. Make sure the Link to Previous control is selected for both the header and footer. The header is displayed, and the insertion point is within it. Click the Header tool in the Header & Footer group, and then click Edit Header. If the section break just before the insertion point is a Continuous section break, press Ctrl+Enter to insert a page break. Place the insertion point at the end of the document, just after the final section break. There is a workaround you can use, however: Unfortunately, there is no intrinsic way to delete section breaks and maintain the formatting represented by that break. This may be what you want, but it can also be a pain if you want to delete the final section break in a document and you don't want the previous text to lose its section formatting. If you have worked with sections before, you already know that if you delete a section break, the text before the break then adopts the section formatting characteristics of the section after the break.

Hopefully, some of the steps above helped you remove that unwanted page in your Word document.Word allows you to format your documents on three general levels: sections, paragraphs, and characters.
That should remove your blank page without affecting your formatting.
On the Layout tab of the Page Setup dialog box, click the Section start drop down and select Continuous. Place your cursor after the section break you want to change. To change the section breaks to a Continuous section break: You can, however, change the section break to a Continuous section break, which will preserve the formatting changes without inserting a blank page. You don’t want to delete the section break because that would cause the pages before the section break to take on the formatting of the pages after the section break. If you intended for the content that follows that point to have different formatting, then keep the section break. Important Note: If a section break is causing a blank page in the middle of a document, removing the section break can cause formatting issues. This way, you will have a clear picture of where the page breaks are, as they will be represented by long, dotted lines.) (If you are having trouble seeing your section breaks try going to the View tab of the Ribbon and switch to Draft mode. 
If your empty page occurs at the end of your document and you have a section break there, you can place your cursor directly before the section break and press Delete to delete it. Next Page, Odd Page, and Even Page section breaks may create a new page in Word. If None of that Works, Look at Your Section Breaks With paragraph marks turned on, you will be able to see the page break.
If your blank page is in the middle of the document, it may be due to a manual page break.
